There have been two unannounced bravo pager nets in the last two weeks.  They were held on Saturday June 6th around 9AM and Saturday June 13th around 10:45AM.  We had 14 check ins to the 6/6 net and 12 check ins for the 6/13 net.  I want to thank all of the stations who checked in for their readiness.

For the other operators who have pagers and did not check in please keep in mind that these unannouced pager nets check the readiness and response of MCAR.  If you have a pager please keep it with you and on at all times.  If the tones go off please check in to the 146.835 MHz repeater for futher instructions.  If you have a bravo pager and no longer use it or would like to turn it in please contact me.  We have several members who are on a waiting list for a pager.  These pagers are no longer available.

We will being tracking the results of these pager nets shortly in order to keep a tally as to who checked in.  Starting in the Fall if you do not check into at least 75% of these nets on a yearly basis you will be asked to turn in your pager. This needs to be done so that those members who want pagers can get them.  It is only fair to those who have asked for a pager.  These pagers are not just for the Thursday night net but for all times when our services may be requested by the county and our other served agencies.
